Here Comes the Sun

Running is so much easier on a day like today, in fact it is a pleasure.  I am so glad I did not skip out on running today.  I almost did, but when I saw the sunshine and felt the warm air I could not help myself.  So I headed out and it was glorious, the sun was shining, the temperature was 70  and there was a nice breeze blowing.  I loved every minute of glorious sunshine.  My opinion of the Texas sun may be a little different come July,  but overall I prefer the heat to the cold.  I guess the mild winters and overall warm/hot temps all year round is one of my favorite things about Texas.  We have been down here for almost two years and there are many things I miss about the Northeast but the cold long winter is not one of them.  So for today I just want to say thank you sun for shining on me today and inspiring me to run.

Slow and Steady Still Finishes the Race
