That must be one of the heaviest things about a treadmill run. The heat in the work-out room is usually so bad, despite any air conditioning.

Great run!

I had a friend at university. He and his friends used to weigh themselves before their long run and they'd see how many pounds they'd lose by the end of it. One of them, after a very long and sweaty 20mi run, lost almost 10lbs in (what must be mostly) water weight!

I love to sweat. A cold shower in the end of it all is a nice treat.

Great treadmill run, btw! I'm not a fan of treadmills because I get bored...can't last more than 3 miles on it :)

This reminded me of a long story from my college days. Not a treadmill but, a stationary bike and a rubber suit. No not a wetsuit, a rubber suit like dish washing gloves. Bike was in the boiler room. Suit up peddle for 45 minutes, jump in the shower, run up to the weigh in room make weight for the wrestling match then run out to eat and sleep before the match time.
You do have to admit, endurance training indoors does drop the water weight quickly. Now we have to figure out how to keep it off.
