Julie L., check out http://www.heelsandhills.com – a women’s half marathon I devote time to, in the Dallas area, but a lot of ladies come from Austin and Houston to run it.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement, it has helped me so much this year. I must admit I was feeling non turtlish today that is until the old guy with the long beard passed me again. The day I beat him in I will no longer be a turtle.

Jule..I actually really enjoyed it..I loved running with all the other women. The course was challenging but very scenic. We stayed a couple of days at the resort so it was kind of like a mini vacation. I also loved the little necklace and the woman’s tech tee. I am probably going to run it again this year. Great job! I like the pics too. Just curious, what did you think of Zooma? I am toying with the idea of doing it this year but have heard lukewarm reviews of the course and organization.
