Running Together
Since the end of summer, my husband and I ran together three times a week pretty consistently. I told him I wanted to train for the 3M half marathon so as I increased my mileage, he did as well. I found it very encouraging to have him with me. Sometimes he was the pace setter and sometimes I was. I enjoyed having someone to share the sights with. The security of not being alone on a secluded part of the trail was also nice. Even though we don’t talk a lot while we run it meant a lot to have him along with me. He recently had a career change which no longer allowed him to run with me in the morning, and I have missed him horribly on my runs. But today we got to run six miles together and it was really nice!
