Although I'm a new running friend, I understand how important it is to have friends - IRL or virtual - to help with whatever you're accomplishing, in this case, running. As I have yet to decide on my wants & goals after my half, I thoroughly enjoy reading about what others are doing with their runs and workouts - it makes me think I can possibly do XYZ, too!.

Meanwhile - glad to see that the garmin/nike+ incident didn't set you back too much! You will do great in your race...and I can tell you're fired up to keep up with the speed/intervals work!!! Yeah!
